I'm just an ordinary mom that washes a lot of clothes and takes a lot of pictures. If you're looking for laundry tips, then you've come to the wrong place!
I decided to start this blog because I take tons of digital pictures but felt like they were just gathering dust on my hard drive. Even though most of my photos are just pictures of my everyday ordinary family life, I've always felt like each one has a story that needs to be told. I love to scrapbook (and maybe one day I'll share some of that on my blog) but it's tough to find the time to scrapbook everything that I want to scrapbook.
When I'm not doing laundry, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, gardening (although you would never know it by the looks of my yard!), trying new recipes, reading, attending my kids' extracurricular activities, and date nights with my husband of 20+ years. I'm always messing around with the settings on my camera (a Nikon D90) in an attempt to learn how to use it. (I really, really, really want to take a photography class but in the meantime, I'm on my own!) I also like to play around with my digital images using Photoshop Elements or iPhoto.
Upon my husband's retirement from the military, we moved to a really small town (population less than 500) and live on three and a half acres that are surrounded by evergreens. It's such a contrast to our previous thirteen years of living in heavily populated subdivisions and I'm always amazed by the wildlife that wanders through here.
Although I mainly created this blog to share with my family and friends, anyone is welcome to check it out. And feel free to leave comments!
